Amoafi Kwapong at Leyton Stories
Amoafi Kwapong is an independent consultant of early childhood education using storytelling and African music to help develop children's oral and written language.
Amoafi works in early years settings and primary schools, as well as with adults who work with children, such as teachers, Librarians, Nursery Nurses and Play Leaders.
Amoafi believes storytelling and music inspire both children and adults to think and learn.
They stimulate the imagination, and generate conversation because we tell stories several times everyday.
Storytelling helps young children to develop their confidence, self esteem, assertiveness and identities.
Amoafi tailors each programme to the individual needs of a group.
She believes everyone is capable of achieving something in life; therefore she works informally also to meet those objectives through facilitating and supporting learners
You can find biographical and
